5 stars

I’ve been to a lot of dentists over the years. It had been a little while and it was time to switch practices. I wanted to feel comfortable. ProGrin did that for me. I’ve never had a more pleasant experience! Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. Super clean facilities. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a new dental practice to call home!

- E. Bradford.

Love this dental group! Dr Ayers has done some major work on my teeth and it has always been with 5 star results. The front office staff and each dental assistant has been friendly and competent. Would definitely recommend this group.

- C. Shinpoch.

Dr. Ayers and his team are amazing to work with! They make you feel super comfortable and important. After seeking many bad dental experiences other places, ProGrin helped me get my confidence back in my smile.

- M. Neese.

My family and I absolutely love the entire staff at ProGrin. I have never looked forward to going to any dentist, but now I actually do. They are totally transparent and upfront on what they feel needs to be done and why. They are the absolute best and we will go nowhere else!

- E. Griffith.

What is a missing tooth clause?

Provision of an insurance plan that states, if the tooth was missing before your coverage began then treatment to replace that tooth will not be covered under this plan.

What is a waiting period?

A time frame, usually a 3, 6, or 12 month period during your plan coverage that you must wait before coverage comes into effect. This usually applies to major services, the insurance wants you to pay into the plan for some time before they will pay on your behalf.

Are my medical and dental insurance companies the same?

It’s possible but more than likely there are two totally different policies. Maximums and deductibles are different with dental than medical, so we recommend confirming your dental insurance details with your HR department if you are unsure. We are also here to help as we have a huge database of dental insurance plans.

I don’t know any of my dental insurance information, can you find it with my name and DOB?

There are thousands of dental insurance plans and we want to ensure we have the correct plan details for your visit with us, please provide us with as much information as possible to assist this process. It’s helpful to have the correct spelling of your first and last name, DOB, member id number, and SSN. If you are not the subscriber on the policy that info is also needed for the subscriber. The insurance company’s name and group plan number is needed as well.

Are you in network with my insurance?

We have a relationship with a lot of the major carriers such as Delta Dental, BCBS of SC, United Healthcare, Cigna, and Metlife just to name a few so chances are we are in-network. Network participation is plan specific which is why it’s important for us to confirm your insurance details prior to your appointment and for you to notify us of any plan changes. Your insurance company also has all of our doctors loaded in their database, a quick call to your insurance carrier to confirm network status is always a great tool to use as well.

I need a tooth pulled, how much it going to cost?

All of our service prices vary upon the specifics of the procedure needed to treat your tooth. There are several different types of extractions so the doctor is going to examine you today and present the best treatment option for you, with those specifics worked out we will go over the estimated costs before completing any treatment. No worries you will get the best treatment at a great value.
