Dr. Ayers was born and raised in Indiana. His family moved to South Carolina while he was in college and he graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina, College of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Ayers continued his pursuit of dental excellence by attending the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advance Dental Learning. Dr. Ayers is also a graduate of the acclaimed Nash Institute for Dental Learning. He currently serves as a teaching mentor at the Institute, working with doctors and healthcare professionals from around the world.

>Dr. Ayers has over 35 years of experience running his own practice. In 2012 Dr. Ayers, along with his son, Brent, co-founded ProGrin Dental.

Aside from caring for his patients, Dr. Ayers has authored two books, “The Service Prescription – Healthcare the Way it Was Meant to Be,” along with his latest motivational book entitled “SPARK, Igniting Your Dreams.”

Dr. Ayers has a passion for dental missions, having worked in Haiti and Ecuador.

When not caring for his patients or working on his next book, you can find Dr. Ayers enjoying time at the lake with family and friends, hunting, fishing, and woodworking.

Brent plays the wonderful balancing act of both pioneering growth and acquisitions in the ProGrin family, while also continuing to build and maintain the infrastructure of the ProGrin Organization as a whole. Brent is a visionary and natural leader who brings his dad’s ideals full circle into reality.

Stephanie is the vice president of operations at ProGrin Dental. Her role includes planning, directing, coordinating and overseeing activities to ensure development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems. She enjoys watching her organization grow and seeing her team grow to become Greenville’s up and coming leaders.

She is an active member of C12, the largest network of Christian executives working to increase company performance and integrate faith and business. She has worked her way up through the company and continue endeavoring to become the best that she can be. She enjoys taking care of her family, which includes their three dogs and their newest member, Mia the monkey! She gives back to the community through an online platform she created called Christ Tribe where people come for advice, prayers and support. She is blessed to have a career that allows her to impact her community and team members while making time for family.

As Regional Director of Practice Management, you can find Averi in our practices helping wherever is needed. She directly partners with our managers to ensure they feel supported and are equipped to provide our patients with the “Perfect Patient Experience.” Averi is a graduate of Clemson University and is a 4th generation Tiger! In her spare time, Averi enjoys the outdoors as well as attending any Clemson sporting event with her family. Averi and her husband, Trey, have the most adorable son, James Michael, and cutest black lab, Maddux.

As the Regional Manager, Bim employs her strong interpersonal skills and comprehensive understanding of dental practice management to lead her team with enthusiasm and determination. She is known for fostering a collaborative and positive work environment, empowering her staff to deliver top-tier patient experiences while maintaining operational efficiency.

Shannon Lowery is a dental hygienist and the clinical relations manager for ProGrin Dental. She is a native from the Boiling Springs area. Shannon is married and has two of the sweetest babies (ages 1 and 2). Shannon has a been a dental hygienist for 14 years. While Shannon enjoys filling in periodically, she has enjoyed stepping into a new role helping all clinical teams at each ProGrin location. Shannon looks forward to growing with this great company and cannot wait to see the future of ProGrin Dental.

Rebecca spearheads the marketing and social media efforts, seamlessly blending creativity with data-driven insights. She is responsible for effectively building trust and credibility within the community. Her insights and recommendations play a crucial role in maintaining a consistent and compelling brand identity across all touchpoints.

Rebecca is based in the coastal town of Wilmington, NC, where she effectively manages her marketing responsibilities remotely. Rebecca knows how to strike the perfect work-life balance when she’s not immersed in marketing strategies. Her downtime is filled with the simple pleasures she cherishes – indulging in reality TV shows, basking in the sun on the beach’s sandy shores, and capturing life’s beautiful moments through her camera lens. He husband and their furry companion, Luna, add joy to her life as they embark on adventures together. Through her passions and leisure activities, Rebecca exudes the same enthusiasm and creativity that she brings to her role as Marketing Coordinator.

Rohanna is the backbone of the financial management pieces to the ProGrin organization. She oversees the execution of payroll, benefits, AP, bookkeeping, and all things financial other than patient billing. Rohanna will also help with the transition of licenses and software switches from a subscription and payment standpoint. Making sure there are no lapses in policies or premiums.

Jordan joined the ProGrin family in 2015 and has loved working for Dr. Ayers and Brent! Jordan originally started as an intern right out of college, and at the end of her internship couldn’t imagine being employed anywhere else! Jordan graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Marketing and Management. She married her husband, Joshua, in 2022 and together they enjoy riding electric bikes, volunteering for their church, and spending time with their baby girl, Janie.
