Dr. Spencer Wagner, Dentist

Dr. Spencer Wagner, DMD, earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the College of Charleston and his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina. A native of Salt Lake City, Utah, he has spent over 30 years honing his dental expertise across diverse practices and locations. He is highly proficient in all facets of dentistry, with specialized expertise in orthodontics, implant placement, and full-mouth restorations. Dr. Wagner is a former private pilot and firearms enthusiast, and enjoys spending time with his wife, six children, and grandchildren. He is excited to join the ProGrin Dental team in Anderson, South Carolina.

Tia, Dental Assistant

Tia has been in the dental field since 1991. She is trained in all the expanded duties of her career as a dental assistant. Tia is dedicated to continuing her education and has taken extensive continuing education involving many aspects of dentistry over the years and continues to do so. She has attended classes at the Spear Education Center in Scottsdale, Arizona, and The Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies. She has received certificates in Advanced Orthodontics, Advanced TMJ and Neuromuscular treatment, and Sleep Apnea. Tia strives to share her vast knowledge of dentistry with her patients to help them better understand their treatment possibilities. She strives to assist in the delivery of the utmost excellence in restorative and cosmetic dental care. Her cheerful smile and wonderful listening skills help put our patients at ease, allowing for a more comfortable and enjoyable dental experience. Tia is married to Rick and has two children – Ben and Hollie, daughter-in-law Nicole and son-in-law Will, and three grandchildren, Rhett, Rhen, and Heidi. She enjoys spending time on the lake with her family and friends.

Pamela, Dental Hygienist

Pamela grew up in the upstate. Pamela completed the dental assisting (2010) and hygiene (2012) programs at Greenville Tech. She loves anything outdoors and is up for an adventure. She has been married to her husband Jamie since 2012, and they are now enjoying parenthood.

Andrea, Patient Coordinator

As a patient of Dr. Groeber for years, Andrea always expressed interest in Dentistry. In 2017 we recruited Andrea for our front desk and patient advocate. Andrea helps our patients with scheduling appointments and working through insurance concerns. Dr. Groeber and the team have inspired Andrea to grow and expand her knowledge of dental skills. As our patient advocate, she assists in explaining and reviewing with the patients about treatment and patient finances.

Andrea lives in Starr with her husband Kevin and daughter Lucy. She also has a son Kade who attends Lander University. Andrea loves spending time with her family, watching Lucy play volleyball or out on the lake. One of her favorite things to do is look for shark teeth when on vacation at the beach.

Maria, Dental Assistant

Maria is our bilingual assistant who grew up here in Anderson SC and she completed her Dental Assisting certification at Capstone in Greenville SC in 2017. She has been assisting over 5 years. Maria married in 2020 and she enjoys spending her time off with her husband Alex, their little dog Leo, and her family and friends. She loves to travel whenever she can. She loves going to the lake and is a total beach bum when she can get away for quick beach trips. Maria is also crafty and loves taking on diy projects. The best part of her dental career is seeing her patients smile at the end of treatment and that is why she loves what she does!
